originally created as a father's day peace with the intention to highlight male penguins' nurturing abilities.  they are the ones who care for the egg while the female goes off to hunt and gather food.  they are charged with keeping it warm and safe until hatching.  penguins represent patience, care, balance, and comfort within one's own masculine and feminine energies.
